This Food Policy Dashboard aims to look at the full picture of our local food and agriculture system here in Adams County, PA.

A collection of over 50 indicators, the Dashboard is our food policy council's next step to build towards our vision of all Adams County residents with access to safe, nutritious, affordable, and adequate food supply within a sustainable system that promotes our local economy. Through this data we explain that food policy is: economic reality, anti-hunger, healthy food access, economic development, food production, food waste reduction, and community health outcomes.

The dashboard started as an initiative of the Adams County Food Policy Council in 2020 with data from multiple community partners, reports, and agencies. It will continue to grow as a shared measurement tool to empower our network with knowledge about our food system with relevant and accurate data and impact stories from our community. With equity at the core of our work, the dashboard aims to make data accessible to all.
